On Jan. 10, the MBC Friday-Saturday drama The Judge Returns depicted the storyline of Kwak Soon-won (Park Geon Il), who moves at the direction of Kang Shin-jin (Park Hee-soon). Earlier, Kwak Soon-won had startled people by attacking Lee Han-young (Jisung).
In this sequence, Kwak Soon-won once again left viewers holding their breath. He expressionlessly ignored the plea of a lawyer begging to be spared. Also, after receiving a phone call from Kang Shin-jin, Kwak Soon-won moved when told to finish the job.

In this way, Park Geon Il compellingly embodied the enigmatic character Kwak Soon-won with weighty acting. Above all, his low-toned voice and cold gaze heightened the tension and raised the drama's intensity.
In the scene where he scolded the desperate lawyer with a dry expression, he conveyed no emotion, further highlighting the character's mysterious side. In this way, Park Geon Il manipulated the show's atmosphere and asserted his presence in just the right places.
