On the 11th broadcast, TV CHOSUN 'Sikgaek Heo Yeong-man's baekban journey' (hereinafter 'Baekban Journey') continued from last week, showing Heo Yeong-man and Kim Min-gyeong embarking on a gourmet trip in Quebec City.
That day, Heo Yeong-man and Kim Min-gyeong tasted a rabbit dish in Petit-Champlain, a small French village inside Quebec City, then headed to Wendake.
At a restaurant run directly by Wendake indigenous people, the two ordered three dishes: venison, wild game stew, and smoked salmon. At that time, Kim Min-gyeong joked to a staff member, "There are two people but three pieces of bread," and Heo Yeong-man joked, "Both pieces, Min-gyeong, you eat them."
Tasting the venison first, Kim Min-gyeong marveled, "I feel no burden at all," and added, "There's no gamey smell, and the herb aroma makes it feel more luxurious." Giving a thumbs-up, Heo Yeong-man agreed, "This is so good it seems like the dishes are still left because of the taste."
On the smoked salmon, Kim Min-gyeong said, "I find this more luxurious. The smoked scent seems to reduce the fishy taste." While they were busy eating, Kim Min-gyeong said, "I really wish there were some rice."
Heo Yeong-man asked, "What kind of food do you usually like to eat?" and Kim Min-gyeong revealed her special love of rice, saying, "I like rice. I absolutely have to eat rice."
She continued, "Lately I often eat kimchi jjim. I like kimchi jjim cooked so the rice and kimchi are boiled until they melt, so there's nothing to chew and it just melts in your mouth."
Then Heo Yeong-man asked, "You like exercising and using strength, don't you? From what I see, you're incredible. Your strength is something else."
Earlier, Kim Min-gyeong not only tried weightlifting but also demonstrated exceptional shooting skills, being selected as a practical shooting national team member and rising as high as 19th. Kim Min-gyeong laughed, "People know I'm strong so they keep asking me to do things. I guess they're curious how strong I am."
When Heo Yeong-man asked, "I heard your slap is strong too," Kim Min-gyeong warned, "You don't really want to try it out on me, do you? Seriously, you can't. I don't want to have to send you to 119 while we're overseas."
Heo Yeong-man called the production team, saying, "I usually have an emotional PD," and a brave crew member stepped forward to challenge. After Kim Min-gyeong framed with her fingers, she snapped with a tremendous sound. The startled crew member glared, and when Kim Min-gyeong asked, "Are you okay?" the crew member oddly replied, "That hit well," bringing laughter.
