Dokyeom X Seungkwan uploaded the cinema version music video of the title track "Blue" from their mini 1st album 'Soyagok' to HYBE Music Group's YouTube channel at 6 p.m. on the 12th. Actors Iyoo Mi and Noh Sang Hyun star, and director Ani Chung took the helm to slowly portray the story of lovers whose coordinates diverge in a dramatized form.
The music video shows a man (Noh Sang Hyun) who carries a deep shadow from wounds that are hard to overcome and a woman (Iyoo Mi) who loves him but grows increasingly exhausted. The narrative of the woman unknowingly drifting far away and the man who wants to hold on to her but ultimately cannot escape his trauma and circles in place delivers a deep resonance.
Dokyeom X Seungkwan drew attention by presenting a music video with a runtime of more than seven minutes. Their plaintive vocals and the two actors' passionate performances create an emotional synergy that conveys the song's theme, "love with different strides," more three-dimensionally and vividly. In particular, the final scene, which depicts the couple at a crossroads without notable dialogue or music, leaves viewers with a strong aftertaste.
"Blue" is a song that expresses the heartbreaking feeling of not being able to let go easily even while sensing the signs of a relationship drifting apart through Dokyeom X Seungkwan's pleading harmony. Dokyeom X Seungkwan will appear on various music shows starting with Mnet's "M Countdown" airing on the 15th to deliver live performances of "Blue." Diverse content has also been prepared.
