The photo, taken on the road in front of Gwanghwamun, showed a clear blue sky. Two days after his father's funeral service, Ahn Da-bin shared his recent condition and his determination for the life ahead, adding to the poignancy.
Ahn Da-bin's father, Ahn Sung-ki, died on the 5th at the age of 74. On the 30th of last month he collapsed at his home after airway obstruction caused by food and had been receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at Soonchunhyang University Hospital, but he never regained consciousness.
Ahn Sung-ki's funeral was held with film industry honors, and many people gathered at the memorial service on the 9th to pay their respects. Ahn Da-bin read his father's letter aloud.
After the memorial service, Ahn Da-bin revealed a letter he received from his father 13 years ago. The letter contained the message "Da-bin. What kind of person should you become in the future?
