Stray Kids(Stray Kids) won the grand prize at the 'Golden Disc Awards'.
Stray Kids won two trophies, the main award in the record institutional sector and the grand prize, with their fourth full-length album 'KARMA' (Karma) at the '40th Golden Disc Awards with Upbit' held at Taipei Dome on the 10th.
The eight members said, "Last year, we received so much love for the two albums we released that it was an incredibly valuable year. Over the eight years as Stray Kids, we have many memories of crying and laughing with STAY (fan club name: STAY). Because we were with STAY, I think we can call those memories not just memories but cherished moments. Going forward, we will continue to build many memories with STAY, create more impressive records, and become artists who know how to be genuinely grateful. Thank you," they said.
Stray Kids, who made history by entering the U.S. Billboard main album chart "Billboard 200" at No. 1 for seven consecutive and eight consecutive albums with the two albums released in 2025, 'KARMA' and SKZ IT TAPE(Seukijeu It Tape) 'DO IT' (Do It), delivered performances of the album title tracks 'CEREMONY' (Ceremony), 'Do It' (Do It), and 'Shinsennoreum' on the day.
Setting a first in the 70-year history of the 'Billboard 200' chart, completing a world tour of 56 shows across 35 regions worldwide 'Stray Kids World Tour < dominATE >' (< dominate >), entering a domestic stadium for the first time in seven years since debut, Stray Kids had their best year since debut in 2025 with major achievements.
Having opened the year brightly by winning music awards' grand prizes, they will carry that momentum into 2026. They will attend the French 'charity event for collecting yellow coins' (Le Gala des Pièces jaunes) for the second time in their career on the 22nd (local time), and on June 6 and Sept. 11 they will appear as headliners at major global music festivals: the U.S. 'The Governors Ball Music Festival' (The Governors Ball Music Festival) and Brazil's 'Rock in Rio' (Rock in Rio).
