Comedian Kim Miryeo shocked audiences by revealing that she suffered financial harm from a manager during her peak years.
On the 10th, a short titled "Luxury woman Kim Miryeo lol" was released on the YouTube content "B-grade hearing." In the video, Nam Ho-yeon asked Kim Miryeo about her earnings during her peak, and Kim Miryeo calmly said, "I would have earned more, but the managers did a lot of shuking (skimming).
Kim Miryeo also mentioned a misunderstanding that arose during the distribution of advertising revenue. She explained the situation at the time, saying, "To the person who filmed the ad together they said, 'Miryeo is doing well, so let's give more to Miryeo,' and to me they said, 'But he's your brother, so let's give more to him.' When Nam Ho-yeon asked, "Isn't that something you should sue or file a complaint about?", Kim Miryeo brought up another anecdote and said, "There was a huge incident," surprising everyone.
Kim Miryeo recalled an incident in which an executive at the company recommended breast reduction surgery and took her to a hospital. She said, "When you go to the hospital you take off your upper clothes and they take photos. We even had a consultation with the doctor, and he said it didn't seem necessary to have the surgery," then revealed, "After it was over and we were getting in the car, that person showed me and said he had taken photos of my breasts. I told him to delete them immediately, and he said he would and let it go."
She added, "That person also siphoned off all my money," and confessed, "Only after time passed did I realize, 'He must have taken those photos so he could threaten me if I kept begging him for money.'" which made the shock greater.
When an angry Nam Ho-yeon worried, "Shouldn't you take care of this?", Kim Miryeo responded with her characteristic coolness, saying, "It was an old 2G phone anyway, so the image quality isn't good," prompting laughter.
