LE SSERAFIM (LE SSERAFIM) won a main award at the first awards ceremony of the new year.
LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Heo Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) won a main award in the digital music institutional sector with the title track "HOT" from their fifth mini album at the "40th Golden Disc Awards" held at Taipei Dome on the 10th.
LE SSERAFIM said "We are honored just to be able to be part of the 40th Golden Disc Awards, and we are grateful to receive such a meaningful award. It gives us great strength that people recognize and support the effort and sincerity in our music," and added, "We are especially grateful to PioNer (FEARNOT, fandom name). Many good things are happening thanks to the fans. We received a lot of love in 2025, and we will show many fun and diverse sides in 2026 as well, so please look forward to it," hinting at this year's activities.
That day LE SSERAFIM wore striking red outfits symbolizing the year of the red horse and performed "HOT," the title track from last year's fifth mini album, and "SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)," the title track from their first single. The five members appeared with confident, runway-like steps, grabbing attention from the start. When the intro to "SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)," which has remained popular since its release in October last year, played, the audience responded explosively. The dance break, enhanced by intense laser lighting, was also a highlight. They raised the festival atmosphere instantly by performing with multiple dancers with yellow hair reminiscent of spaghetti strands.
LE SSERAFIM rode bicycles to the protruding stage and continued the heat with "HOT." Their relaxed stage manner and choreography using house steps provided visual appeal. Especially after the performance, a mysterious phrase appeared on the LED background along with the fresh word "POWERFUL," stimulating curiosity. Also that day Heo Yunjin performed a special stage singing Kim Hyun-sik's "Like the Rain, Like the Music." Guitar playing and Heo Yunjin's distinctive deep tone came together to add a new sensitivity to the original song.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will hold an encore concert of their world tour at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from Jan. 31 to Feb. 1. Last year they performed 29 shows in 19 cities across Korea, Japan, Asia and North America on the "2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR 'EASY CRAZY HOT'". They plan to spectacularly close the tour with performances that condense the experience and know-how they have accumulated.
