This is a review article written after watching the broadcast.
'Gourmet Heo Yeong-man's baekban journey' Kim Min-kyung displayed tremendous strength.
On the 11th broadcast of TV CHOSUN 'Gourmet Heo Yeong-man's baekban journey' (hereinafter 'baekban journey'), the second part of the Quebec City gourmet trip following last week unfolded, showing Heo Yeong-man and Kim Min-kyung visiting Wendake.
That day Heo Yeong-man and Kim Min-kyung visited a restaurant run directly by Wendake indigenous people located 20 minutes from Quebec City. The two ordered three dishes: venison, wild game stew, and smoked salmon.
First to challenge the mukbang with venison, Kim Min-kyung said "I don't feel any burden at all," and Heo Yeong-man silently gave a thumbs up.
Also, Kim Min-kyung expressed satisfaction, saying "The meat doesn't smell gamey at all, and because of the herb aroma it feels more luxurious." In response Heo Yeong-man agreed, saying "Maybe this dish has remained because it's delicious."
While eating, Kim Min-kyung lamented, "I really wish there was some rice." When Heo Yeong-man asked, "What kind of food do you usually enjoy?" she replied, "I like rice. I have to have rice no matter what."
She added, "Lately I often eat kimchi jjim. I like kimchi jjim cooked so that the rice and kimchi are boiled until they melt and there is nothing to chew, so when you put it in your mouth it just dissolves."
Then Heo Yeong-man asked, "You like exercising and using strength, don't you? From what I saw, you're amazing. Your strength is something else," Kim Min-kyung joked, "People know I'm strong so they keep making me do things. They must be curious how strong I am."
When Heo Yeong-man showed curiosity about giving a smack on the head, Kim Min-kyung warned, "Teacher, you don't really want to try, do you? Really, you can't. I don't want to send you to 119 while we're overseas."
In the end the production staff took on the challenge instead of Heo Yeong-man, and Kim Min-kyung stunned everyone by delivering an enormous smack with a loud 'tuk' sound.
