Yano Shiho made a bombshell remark that she needs a boyfriend.
On the 10th broadcast of MBC variety show Omniscient Interfering View, Yano Shiho's schedule in Korea was revealed. That day, when asked, "Do you know that Choo Sung Hoon has appeared on 'Omniscient Interfering View'?" she hesitated for a moment and answered, "I don't know," turning the set into a sea of laughter. In response, Jun Hyun-moo added, "Whenever we start a broadcast with Choo Sung Hoon, Yano Shiho always asks where he is, and each time she says she doesn't know," adding to the laughter.
Amid the laughter-filled conversation, feelings about family naturally emerged. Yano Shiho explained the current situation in which her family cannot live together, saying, "Choo Sung Hoon has to be in Korea, Sarang has to be in Japan because of school, so I am in Japan." She added the regret of real-life circumstances by saying, "I want the three of us to live together."
In a later segment, Yano Shiho's daily life, in which she never stops learning despite a busy schedule, was portrayed. Yano Shiho caught attention by showing herself sitting side by side with her daughter Choo Sarang and taking a Korean lesson via a video call.
Yano Shiho's manager said, "As her activities in Korea have increased recently, her Korean schedule has increased as well," and added, "Whether she's in Japan or on overseas schedules, whenever she has time she consistently takes Korean lessons online." Her affection for and effort toward life in Korea naturally showed in everyday moments.
During the lesson, Yano Shiho calmly answered questions while carrying on an everyday conversation with the Korean teacher, and Choo Sarang also actively participated beside her, creating a warm atmosphere. The mother and daughter especially talked about a recent trip to London. Choo Sarang explained clearly that she visited because her friend Yuto is studying in London, drawing admiration.
During the lesson, when the teacher asked, "Have you been studying Korean recently?" Yano Shiho honestly answered, "I haven't. There's no Korean person to speak with."
She then said, "So I need a boyfriend," which instantly stirred the studio. Surprised by the unexpected remark, everyone reacted, and Yano Shiho immediately laughed and revealed she was joking. She mentioned Choo Sung Hoon's busy schedule, saying, "My husband is too busy. If I ask what he's doing now, he says, 'I'm busy,' and hangs up right away," drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, Yano Shiho was born in 1976 and is 49 this year. She married mixed martial artist Choo Sung Hoon in 2009 and gave birth to daughter Choo Sarang in 2011. Recently she has been sharing her family's daily life and updates with fans through her personal YouTube channel.<
