Comedian Lee Yong-sik's son-in-law Won-hyeok became embroiled in a public nuisance controversy.
On the 10th, a video titled "(Hawaii part 2) Won-hyeok, who cries a lot — such a nuisance, says his younger sibling" was released on Lee Yong-sik's daughter Lee Soo-min's YouTube channel AppeoTV.
The video showed the Lee Yong-sik family and the couple Won-hyeok and Lee Soo-min accepting an invitation from a local church during their trip to Hawaii to give testimony and sing praises, and scenes of them saying goodbye as the trip ended.
Invited by the local church, the Lee Yong-sik family and the couple Won-hyeok and Lee Soo-min went up on stage together. Daughter Lee El received all the attention for being cute as she clapped at the church, while Lee Yong-sik said, "I think life is about worrying and resolving it, worrying and resolving it for a lifetime," delivering a message about life's worries and solutions.
During his testimony, Won-hyeok became emotional and shed tears. He cried so much that the accompaniment was briefly stopped, but he finished the praise with sincerity. Won-hyeok said, "I cry a lot. From the moment we came here until the pastor's sermon, I kept getting choked up."
Won-hyeok's younger sibling, with a different "T" tendency from his older brother, drew laughter. The younger sibling said, "He unnecessarily dragged out the time singing. If he were on the same broadcast panel as that person, I would never work with him again," and Won-hyeok, visibly embarrassed, replied, "Did I cry in the library or cry in the supermarket? Is that something to be criticized so harshly?"
