Rookie virtual girl group OWIS has unveiled its veil.
OWIS surprised fans by revealing their debut trailer at the 40th Golden Disc Awards with Upbit held in Taipei, Taiwan, on the 10th.
The released trailer drew attention with a dreamy sensibility where reality and the unconscious intersect. It then sensually depicted the change from day to night with pixel graphics and a languid-sounding atmosphere. In particular, the silhouette of an unidentified girl appeared in spaces tinged with mysterious light, arousing curiosity.
The team name OWIS, first revealed through the Golden Disc Awards, is an acronym for "Only When I Sleep," meaning "only can be met in dreams." OWIS also consecutively opened their debut title track name "MUSEUM," drawing much attention inside and outside the industry.
After the awards ceremony, OWIS created official X (X), Instagram and YouTube accounts and began full-scale communication. In particular, X is separated into an official account and accounts for member communication, promising active interaction with global fans. Questions remain about how many members the virtual girl group OWIS will have and what kind of content they will present to the public.
