'Mr. House Husband' Park Seojin has properly kicked off a busy 2026 schedule.
On the KBS 2TV show 'Mr. House Husband season 2' (hereinafter 'Mr. House Husband') aired on the 10th, the behind-the-scenes story of Park Seojin, who won the grand prize at the 2025 KBS Entertainment Awards, unfolded.
The day after the entertainment awards, Park Seojin started his day waking up with a heavy hangover from a gathering with the 'Mr. House Husband' cast and crew. As soon as he woke up he hugged the trophy and replayed the previous day's award-winning moment to relive the glory, and then shared the joy with his parents via video call. Because the grand prize was earned after two years of honestly portraying an unvarnished daily life and family stories on 'Mr. House Husband,' Park Seojin sincerely thanked his parents for their hard work, and he warmly expressed appreciation to his younger sister Hyojung as well.
For him, his sister Hyojung prepared a first-class service. After a luxury bathroom setup just for Park Seojin, she personally prepared a hangover meal and presented it. In particular, Hyojung's wit—putting bean sprout soup in a champagne glass and cleverly using lemon to cure the hangover—combined with Park Seojin's lively reactions, greatly amplified the charm of the 'Mr. House Husband' family variety show.
Footage from Park Seojin's nationwide tour concert, which sold out all seats, was also revealed. Because it was his first nationwide tour concert since his debut and he had prepared harder than ever, not only his sister and mother but also the 'Mr. House Husband' matron in-law Gwi-nam and Lee Min Woo's mother Suyeon joined in full force to cheer him on. In particular, Lee Min Woo's eldest daughter Ria, who is Park Seojin's favorite, also appeared, bringing smiles as the youngest fan and Park Seojin met.
At the concert, Park Seojin opened the show perfectly with the 'clown' stage, then filled the stage flawlessly with a lively janggu performance worthy of the drum god and an energetic dance medley. His chemistry with the fans also shone, reaffirming Park Seojin's true value on stage. The enthusiasm at the venue, shared by fans from across the country, family and the 'Mr. House Husband' cast, was conveyed intact to viewers at home. Park Seojin's concerts, which began in Seoul, will continue nationwide in Daejeon, Ilsan and Busan.
Park Seojin made 'Mr. House Husband' even more colorful by showing moments of his main job as the leading trot prince. "This year too, uh?Xuh?X I will go full steam," he said, and Park Seojin is ready to be active in 2026. Expectations are high for his full-scale activities warmed up by 'Mr. House Husband.'
Meanwhile, 'Mr. House Husband' airs every Saturday at 10:35 p.m.
