Actor Jo Bokrae will hold a belated wedding ceremony five years after his marriage.
According to his agency BH Entertainment on the 10th, Jo Bokrae will hold the wedding on Feb. 21 at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul.
Previously, Jo Bokrae married in 2021 but did not hold a ceremony at the time due to the COVID-19 impact. Since then, he became the father of two children, welcoming his first son in 2023 and his second daughter last year.
However, because he did not hold a wedding ceremony, many people thought he was unmarried. Then, in November last year Jo Bokrae announced his marriage on a broadcast where he appeared to promote the film "Informer."
Later in an interview Jo Bokrae said, "I'm not an actor who receives a lot of attention and it was during the COVID period. Many people around me also postponed their weddings then. I set the wedding date for the day our second child turns one."
Meanwhile, Jo Bokrae debuted in 2010 through the play "My Love DMZ" and established himself as a masterful scene-stealer by perfectly portraying both heroic and villainous roles without distinction.
He later appeared in films such as "Door Lock", "The Queen of Crime", "The Accidental Detective: Beginning", "Chinatown", "Sse-shi Bong", "The Admiral: Roaring Currents", "Love Untangled", and "Informer", as well as dramas including "Imjong", "Vampire Detective", "Yongpal", "Imjong", "Chief of Staff 2", "Navillera", "The Veil", "Our Beloved Summer", "Connect", "The Agency", "Moving", "Yeolnyeo Bakssi Contract Marriage Tale", and "Undercover High School."
After the wedding ceremony, Jo Bokrae is scheduled to meet viewers in SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Kim Bu-jang."
