'I Live Alone' drew viewers' attention when Ku Sung-hwan bought Jun Hyun-moo's painting and even the award-winning 'air' in succession at the Rainbow Grand Bazaar.
On the 9th episode of MBC I Live Alone, the preparation process for the 'Rainbow Grand Bazaar' hosted by Jun Hyun-moo, Kian84 and Code Kunst was revealed. At the flea market–style event that day, unexpected transactions continued and produced laughter.
Jun Hyun-moo took out a painting he had drawn himself for the bazaar and said confidently, "This is what should be in a hip select shop." When he introduced the work featuring a radish character as 'Mumu Market,' the panel responded with joking reactions, and Code Kunst praised the color combination and livened the mood.
Jun Hyun-moo said, "If nothing sells, I'll at least put the painting out at a low price," but Ku Sung-hwan immediately showed interest, saying, "I'm drawn to it." After haggling, the price rose to 500,000 won, and Ku Sung-hwan decided to buy, saying, "This is the first time I'm buying a painting, and 500,000 won for hyung's painting."
Another item then appeared. Jun Hyun-moo put up for sale the 'air' from the time he won the grand prize. It was the air he had previously given to Code Kunst, and Code Kunst put it up for sale again. Jun Hyun-moo emphasized its meaning, saying, "It's that air from back then," and although Ku Sung-hwan was initially baffled, he gradually listened after being told, "It's like a talisman."
Code Kunst added from his experience, "After I received this, things started going well like a lie," and Ku Sung-hwan eventually offered to pay an additional 100,000 won on top of the painting's purchase price, making a total of 600,000 won. What started as a joke at the bazaar had turned into a moment where a 'wish to do well' was exchanged.
Jun Hyun-moo joked, "It's all for good causes," and Ku Sung-hwan smiled with satisfaction as he held both the painting and the award 'air.'
Meanwhile, I Live Alone airs every Friday at 11:10 p.m.<
