The group MEOVV has its sights set on the best K-pop rookie.
On the 8th (local time), iHeartRadio released the nominee list for the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Awards (hereafter "iHeartRadio Awards") on its official website, in which the group MEOVV (Suin·Gawon·ANNA·Narin·Ella) was nominated in the K-pop best new artist institutional sector (Best New Artist).
The "iHeartRadio Awards" is an awards ceremony hosted since 2014 by iHeartRadio, the United States' largest online radio broadcaster, which selects and honors the most played songs and artists on iHeartRadio stations and applications over the year. MEOVV's inclusion among the best new artist nominees suggested strong interest from global K-pop fans.
MEOVV opened its activities last April with the pre-release and double title "HANDS UP" and in May released its first EP "MY EYES OPEN VVIDE," showing a further expanded musical spectrum with the title track "DROP TOP." Fans and listeners also cheered the solid live skills the group demonstrated across domestic and global stages.
Five months later, MEOVV made a speedy comeback with the digital single "BURNING UP," presenting more intense performances and upgraded music. Concluding activities with strong results on domestic and international charts, MEOVV attended numerous year-end award shows, adding trophies and solidifying its position as a leading fifth-generation girl group.
The "iHeartRadio Awards" will be held March 26 in Los Angeles, United States.
