Actor Jo Bokrae will hold a belated wedding ceremony with his wife in February, five years after their marriage.
On the 10th, his agency BH Entertainment said Jo Bokrae will hold a wedding on Feb. 21 at a wedding hall in Gangnam, Seoul.
It will be his first wedding ceremony in five years. He registered his marriage with his wife in 2021. However, the COVID-19 pandemic was in full swing at the time. As a result, the couple did not hold a wedding ceremony. Later, they became parents of two children, welcoming their first son in 2023 and a daughter last year.
Meanwhile, Jo Bokrae continued acting without a break, appearing in numerous works including the films "Love Untangled" and "Information Source" and the dramas Navillera, "Not Crazy It's Just Me", "Black Sun", Hometown, Our Beloved Summer, Connect, "The Agency", "Brothers of Miracles", Moving, "The Married Life of Yeolnyeo Bakssi", Iron Family and Undercover High School.
That means he will hold the ceremony in practice five years after marrying. Regarding the somewhat delayed wedding, Jo Bokrae revealed the circumstances in an interview with "Information Source." He said, "I am not a hugely prominent actor, and it was the COVID-19 period. Many people around me did not have weddings then or postponed them. So we set the wedding date for the day of our second child's dol," he said.
Jo Bokrae is an actor who debuted in 2010 through the play "My Love DMZ." He drew particular attention for portraying the voice of singer Song Chang-sik in the film "The Sse-shi Bong." In addition, he has appeared in films such as The Admiral: Roaring Currents and Love Untangled, as well as works including "Immortal Enemy", "Vampire Detective", "Yongpal", Chief of Staff 2 and others.
He plans to continue active work after the wedding. His next project is the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Manager Kim", which stars actor So Jisub and has attracted attention.
