Moon Sang Min switches to a direct mode toward Nam Ji-hyun.
Today (the 10th), in episode 3 of the KBS 2TV weekend miniseries To My Beloved Thief (writer Lee Sun / director Ham Young-gul / produced by Studio Dragon), Dowoldaegun Lee Yeol (played by Moon Sang Min) launches an affection offensive toward Gil-dong and court nurse Hong Eun-jo (played by Nam Ji-hyun).
After they shared a sweet kiss at only their second meeting, Hong Eun-jo and Lee Yeol cannot easily shake the afterglow. Hong Eun-jo, who stole Lee Yeol's lips, confessed that day's events to her mother Chun-seom (played by Seo Young-hee) in a state of confusion and revealed her mixed emotions, and Lee Yeol, whose lips had been stolen, summoned his maids and pored over the events of that day one by one as he tried to gauge Hong Eun-jo's true feelings.
Their third meeting unfolded even more fatefully and drew attention. Lee Yeol, wounded by an arrow from the patrol soldiers chasing Gil-dong, went to Hyeminseo and there encountered court nurse Hong Eun-jo, who had hastily shed her Gil-dong disguise.
As attention centers on the moment of their reunion, the released photos show Lee Yeol's proactive moves as he learns where Hong Eun-jo works and begins to approach her in earnest, raising curiosity.
When Hong Eun-jo, who was tending to a critical patient, suddenly came face to face with Lee Yeol, surprise crossed her face, and Lee Yeol, without a moment's hesitation, reached out to help her. Standing together by the patient's side, the two show a sense of closeness that has grown between them.
More than anything, Lee Yeol's sweet gaze toward Hong Eun-jo suggests he has fallen deeply for her. In addition, the teaser of a tailored gift for the court nurse Hong Eun-jo raises expectations for the relationship between the two.
Meanwhile, To My Beloved Thief has received strong responses immediately after its first broadcast. After ranking No. 1 in Netflix's "Today Korea's top 10 series," it also proved its buzz potential by rising to No. 5 in the TV drama popularity ranking released by FUNdex, the fundex of Good Data Corporation, a K-content competitiveness analysis firm, within the first week of broadcast.
