Comedian Shin Bong-Sun drew attention with a noticeably changed look after dieting. She prompted reactions saying she resembled singer IU, underscoring the importance of maintenance.
On the 9th, Shin Bong-Sun's YouTube channel released content titled "What is Bongseoni like when she strictly manages herself before an ad shoot?"
This content showed Shin Bong-Sun concentrating on maintenance one month before the ad shoot. Shin Bong-Sun said, "There is less than a month left until the ad shoot. I came to the dermatology clinic I've been going to consistently for 20 years since my rookie days. I go once or twice a year, and I thought it might be good to get treatment before the ad," as she visited the dermatology clinic.
Shin Bong-Sun received Thermage, Ultherapy, toxin injections and Rejuran procedures at the dermatology clinic. She also maintained herself through regular exercise. From gym workouts to Pilates, she took care of her health and managed her figure through various exercises.
Until the day before the ad shoot, Shin Bong-Sun worked out to perfect her look. Dressed in a sweat suit, she followed her own routine and complained, "I've been dieting for three years and it's really hard." She added that her thigh line improved after doing ballet.
On the day of the shoot, Shin Bong-Sun also visited the gym. After completing an InBody measurement, she maintained a body fat percentage in the 18% range. The trainer said, "When women have body fat in the 18% range, it's so well reduced that you could say men are below 10%. Well done."
After hair and makeup for the ad shoot, Shin Bong-Sun showed off a completely changed look. While concentrating on the shoot, she asked staff, "Who do I look like today?" When they answered IU, she said, "Someone might think I'm forcing it," making people laugh.
After finishing the shoot, Shin Bong-Sun was delighted to receive flowers and a luxury scarf from the staff. The staff said, "You're so pretty. You seem to be getting prettier and prettier," and Shin Bong-Sun candidly revealed, "I just had laser treatment."
