Comedian Shim Jin-hwa attended the 19th anniversary of the late Kim Hyung-eun as well.
On the afternoon of the 10th, Shim Jin-hwa posted on her SNS, "Hyung-eun's 19th anniversary. It's so surprising. How time flies...," sharing a long post and several photos.
She wrote, "I'm especially sad and upset today, and the letters I've written over 19 years feel bitter for no reason; I prayed they would reach her so that she would know I still thought of her here and would not feel lonely," expressing her longing for the late Kim Hyung-eun.
Shim Jin-hwa added, "I came here a week ago, and the flowers I left then were still there, so seeing that there were two flowers today made it look popular and made me happy. Later, a Cheonga Park staff member said they bought flowers and gave one, so there were three. I miss Kim Hyung-eun," conveying how she had been thinking of and missing the late Kim Hyung-eun all along.
The late Kim Hyung-eun was involved in a chain collision near Pyeongchang, Gangwon, on the Yeongdong Expressway while traveling to fulfill a schedule on Dec. 17, 2006; the crash, caused by speeding, left her with a fractured cervical spine and unconscious. Although she underwent surgery and showed signs of recovery, she died on Jan. 10, 2007, at the age of 27.
