Lee Ji-hyun said, "I'm leaving today to study in the United States and because it's the kids' vacation. I packed bags to an immigration-level extent and checked several times to make sure I hadn't left anything out. Since arriving in the United States, I have run several simulations in my head of the kids' behavior and daily life, and in the meantime I checked once more for anything uncomfortable or needed!" she said, showing she had prepared thoroughly as a mother.
Lee Ji-hyun continued, "I woke up at the crack of dawn and cleaned out the refrigerator as if dismantling the house, called the kids who were playing, nagged and fussed at them, and came to the airport, but when I went to check in I was shocked—no one was there. I checked and realized I had mixed up the flight time and became an airport nobody. Anyway, since everything was so clumsy, shabby and a mess, I wondered why I had prepared so passionately," expressing her disappointment in herself.
But Lee Ji-hyun soothed herself, saying, "The words I heard on a show not long ago, 'It's okay to live roughly,' come to mind."
