Actor and singer Nana revealed a striking photo spread after being counter-sued by an assailant and questioned by police.
Nana released multiple photos on the 9th. In the spread, Nana wears red stockings and matching high heels, showing an intense visual.
In another photo, Nana is pictured crouched in a bathtub with her top removed. Her spine bones are visible due to her extremely thin body, which causes surprise.
That day, according to her agency Sublime, Nana was questioned diligently at the Guri police station in Gyeonggi as a defendant the day before.
However, the agency cautiously said, "This matter involves an act against humanity that caused great mental suffering to Nana and her family, and because the investigation is ongoing, we ask for your understanding that it is difficult to provide specific details."
They added, "Our company makes protecting the rights and interests of our artists a top priority, and regarding this matter we are reviewing all possible civil and criminal legal measures against the perpetrator," and "we will continue to respond responsibly so that the artist does not suffer further harm, and we will actively cooperate with investigative authorities' inquiries."
Earlier, in November last year, a masked assailant armed with a knife broke into Nana's home demanding valuables. Nana and her mother subdued the assailant after a struggle and reported it to the police, but in the process Nana's mother suffered strangulation injuries inflicted by the assailant.
Recently, however, the suspect who was detained reportedly submitted a complaint against Nana during the investigation and is claiming that the actions Nana took during the subduing amounted to "attempted murder."
Nana's side emphasized the same principle in an official statement, saying, "The perpetrator, without showing any remorse, filed a separate complaint against actor Nana, abusing the victim's celebrity status and causing secondary harm through an act against humanity. Our company makes protecting the rights and interests of our artists a top priority, and we will pursue all civil and criminal legal measures against the perpetrator in relation to this matter."
