Actor Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina, having ended a 10-year public relationship and become spouses, are attracting attention for their every move.
Director Yook Sang-hyo, who worked with Shin Mina on the film "3 Days of Vacation," said in a column he contributed to the Hankyoreh on the 9th, "The beautiful bride cried throughout the ceremony. As she had said, she seemed moved by this wedding in which 'the longtime boyfriend becomes the husband.'"
Earlier, on Dec. 20 last year, Shin Mina and Kim Woo-bin held their wedding at the Shilla Hotel Dynasty Hall in Jung-gu, Seoul, after about 10 years of a long-term relationship. The ceremony began with Kim Woo-bin's close friend, actor Lee Kwangsoo, serving as master of ceremonies, and Buddhist monk Beopryun delivering the ceremony, offering warm and heartfelt words. The congratulatory song was performed by singer Car, the garden, who appeared and passionately sang "Romantic Sunday," the OST of the drama "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha," starring Shin Mina, wishing the couple happiness.
Director Yook Sang-hyo recalled, "I kept laughing at Lee Kwangsoo's serious tone as he hosted. I laughed even more when he said that Doh Kyung Soo, who couldn't perform the congratulatory song because of an unavoidable schedule, was 'running only for success.' My wife sent a message saying BTS member V was at the venue, so I looked around."
He added, "When we finally found V, he sat quietly among the actors wearing glasses and looking neat, as if not to steal the spotlight and bother the day's protagonists, like a junior college student at an alumni meeting. Actor Lee Byung-hun stood among the people on the bride's side for the photo shoot. They were all Korea's top stars, but that day they seemed to want to be just one guest."
Yook recalled, "The bride and groom, who were greeting guests, came to our table as well. When the bride, with tear stains still on her face, softly said, 'I will live well,' I was moved," adding, "Even Shin Mina, a star whom the public adores and consumes, at this moment was a pure bride who earnestly hoped to live happily with the man she loves."
Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina, who held their wedding, were reported exclusively by OSEN on the 6th to be on their honeymoon in Spain. Afterward, there were continued eyewitness reports saying Kim Woo-bin was seen wearing his wedding ring at Korean restaurants in Spain, and recently a post with a photo appeared claiming to have seen the two at a luxury store in Barcelona, Spain.
