Thanks to the popularity of season 3, seasons 1 and 2 also re-entered the upper ranks of each country's charts, producing a meaningful result referred to as a "series resurgence."
Beyond Asia, it also recorded seven consecutive weeks at number one in the Middle East, once again proving the global reach of 'Taxi Driver 3'.
Viu is Asia's largest regional OTT platform operated by Hong Kong's PCCW, and currently offers a variety of K-content including 'Taxi Driver 3', 'Idol i', 'Love Me' and 'EXchange / Transit Love'.
The "Taxi Driver" series is a revenge agency drama in which the enigmatic Rainbow Transportation and taxi driver Kim Do-gi (Lee Je-hoon) carry out revenge on behalf of wronged victims, and each season has earned steady support from Viu viewers with its intense narrative and satisfying developments. Season 3 further expands these strengths of the series and is drawing global viewers into its story.
In particular, Lee Je-hoon, who has played the lead in three consecutive series, recently won the grand prize at the 2026 SBS Drama Awards and has been generating buzz as season 3 recorded a peak rating of 14.2% ahead of its finale on the 10th.
