'Save me! Holmes' celebrated a double boon after Park Narae's departure.
On the 8th episode of MBC's 'Save me! Holmes,' to mark the 2026 new year and look at the economic outlook for the year, Jang Dong-min, Lee Sang-yeop and Joo Woo-jae were shown going on location to Dongyeouido, the center of Korea's finance.
Stock investment expert and writer Park Min-soo joined them in the studio. Appearing on several YouTube channels such as 'Chimchakman' and 'Ppanibottle,' where he has drawn attention for his wide-ranging knowledge and tireless wit, he said he is a 28-year Yeouido office worker who works as both a stock instructor and a writer.
In the opening, the 'Holmes' family celebrated the results of the '2025 broadcast entertainment awards.' First, Kim Sook received the female grand prize, and then Jang Dong-min and Yang Se-hyung were mentioned as being nominated for the male grand prize, and they congratulated one another.
Since the location for the day was Yeouido, the process of checking stock skills produced surprise with profits without losses. Yang Se-chan said, "I've been doing it for more than 10 years, and the return is not negative. It's very much in the plus." Yang Se-hyung and Jang Dong-min also said "very much in the plus," and their shoulders rose as they said "comedians are good at stocks."
By contrast, Lee Sang-yeop said he had never made a profit. He especially said of his wife, who works in finance, "She is not completely in securities but in project financing. It's a job that raises funds for projects. My wife cannot trade stocks. There are professions with restrictions on stock trading."
Park Min-soo explained, "Securities firm employees can trade stocks in their own name, but they have to report to the company regularly. There are certain regulations within the company. Jobs that can know a company's inside information cannot do it at all. Meeting privately and talking is giving unpublished information, so it's illegal."
Joo Woo-jae had never touched stocks. He said, "I don't really understand the concept of stocks. I've never opened a stock account," and Jang Dong-min said, "Joo Woo-jae is very suspicious. Even at award ceremonies, he gets that suspicious watching preparations for magic." Lee Sang-yeop also said, "That Joo Woo-jae really doesn't know stocks — he thinks the term 'manipulation stocks' has a very good meaning," which drew laughter.
