Singer Lee Hyuk will re-record "Love that keeps me alive" as the first artist in the "Wish+" project.
Lee Hyuk will release the music Connect project "Wish+" Ep.01 "Love that keeps me alive" at 6 p.m. on the 18th through various online music sites.
"Wish+ (Wish Plus)" is Goldenmoon Entertainment (CEO Hwang Jeong-mun)'s first music project. It means continuing music that contains a "wish (Wish)" — it plans to sequentially release well-made tracks that evenly fill the emotions that add newness to music I want to hear (Wish) and music I want to share (Wish) with a plus (+).
Lee Hyuk's "Love that keeps me alive," released as the first single, is co-produced by HNS HQ (CEO Kim Gyo-sik). Goldenmoon Entertainment-managed Vibe's Yoon Min-su and HNS HQ artist Lee Ye-jun last year showcased a three-part breakup duet project over about a year, successfully releasing "Lighthouse," "The reason I can't get married," and "The road that sees you off," so expectations are high for the completeness of this new song as well.
"Love that keeps me alive" is originally the OST of the KBS 2TV drama "Mrs. Chadalrae's Love" sung by Geum Jan-di in 2018. Since then, it has consistently received great public love through covers by many artists, including the original artist Geum Jan-di's trot version, Jang Min Ho, Hong Ji-yoon, Soul-G, and Jung Seojoo.
Lee Hyuk's remake of "Love that keeps me alive" is expected to offer fresh enjoyment with a genreal color different from trot. Known as the "high-note finisher," Lee Hyuk not only has a unique vocal range but also emphasized his attractive tone to newly interpret the pure love sentiment of "Love that keeps me alive" with a deep voice alone.
