The group Young Posse (YOUNG POSSE) will release a surprise collaboration single ahead of their full comeback.
Young Posse (Jeong Seon-hye, Wi Yeon-jeong, Jiana, Do-eun, Han Ji-eun) will release the collaboration single "LOSE YOUR SHXT" with popular Chinese rapper BENZO on global music platforms at 1 a.m. on the 10th.
"LOSE YOUR SHXT" is a hip-hop track that showcases K-pop swagger, combining a heavy beat and sharp rhythms with intense rap to vividly capture the free groove of the current generation. Young Posse's signature boundary-free sound stands out, and under the production of Ludwig Lindell and WAVEBOY, who have produced many hits for leading K-pop artists, the song was completed with even greater precision.
In particular, through "LOSE YOUR SHXT," Young Posse collaborated with BENZO, one of the hottest rappers in the Chinese hip-hop scene. The two artists from different backgrounds naturally combine rough rapping and pop sensibility, promising an unusual synergy that can resonate through music beyond language and region, raising expectations.
The cross-border combination of Young Posse and BENZO can also be seen vividly in the music video. The music video teaser for "LOSE YOUR SHXT," released on Young Posse's official YouTube channel on the 8th, hinted at a witty narrative by contrasting chef BENZO struggling alone in a Chinese fusion burger restaurant with Young Posse, a part-timer who has no interest in work. Uncontrolled chaos, lively performances and camera moving follow, promising to showcase the peak of Young Posse's brand of humor.
Young Posse will make a full comeback by releasing a single album on the 27th. Ahead of that, Young Posse will warm up their comeback by releasing the collaboration single "LOSE YOUR SHXT" at 1 a.m. on the 10th.
