Actor Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young drew attention by revealing for the first time the proposal that took place during their honeymoon trip to Australia and the photos from that time.

Kwon Sang Woo recalled the moment he was first impressed by Son Tae Young, saying "At the time I wasn't very interested in female actresses, but I happened to see my wife on the variety show 'Come to Play,'" he said. He recalled, "She wore a red fuzzy hat and, while being teased with a mischievous question about parting, she cried without realizing it," and "her tired-looking appearance felt similar to me." He added that at that time they had never met in person.
The two first met through an introduction from an acquaintance. Kwon Sang Woo explained, "When I was filming a drama with Kim Seong Soo hyung, I heard that 'Son Tae Young is okay' and arranged a meeting," and "Oh Jiho, Seong Soo hyung, Son Tae Young and a friend met at a restaurant near Dosan Park." Kwon Sang Woo revealed the behind-the-scenes of the proposal, saying, "I wanted to make proper memories in Australia." When asked why he fell for Son Tae Young, Kwon Sang Woo said, "In past relationships I was always anxious when apart, but Son Tae Young made me feel not anxious," and "her comfort, stability and kindness are her greatest charms."
