The group BOYNEXTDOOR will continue its busy schedule in Japan in 2026.
BOYNEXTDOOR (Seongho, Liu, Myeong Jaehyeon, Taesan, I-han, Unhak) will appear in a special performance of "with MUSIC LIVE" at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, held over two days on the 11th and 12th. They were the only K-pop artists to make the lineup. They will perform on the second day.
BOYNEXTDOOR will use this as a starting point to carry out various activities locally. The six members will take the stage as headliners two days in a row at the festival "BEAT AX" held at Ariake Arena on Feb. 14–15. They are also scheduled to attend the first-day performance of TBS's "CDTV Live! Live! Spring Thanksgiving 2026" held on March 7–8.
BOYNEXTDOOR will expand their activities into variety shows. The members will present the talk variety show "BOYNEXTDOOR Tomodachi Base" on Nippon TV starting April 11. This is the first time they will host a regular variety show in the local broadcast using the team's name. BOYNEXTDOOR will serve as the program's main hosts and work with various guests each week.
BOYNEXTDOOR released their Japanese debut single "AND," in July 2024 and began full-scale local activities. Their first solo tour last year, "BOYNEXTDOOR TOUR 'KNOCK ON Vol.1' IN JAPAN," including encore performances, sold out all 13 shows across six Japanese cities. Their second Japanese single released in August that year, "BOYLIFE," topped two positions on Oricon's weekly charts (tracking period: Aug. 18–24) and earned a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (September 2025). Their fourth Korean mini album "No Genre" and fifth mini album "The Action," released in Korea, also received gold certifications. Riding this momentum, they won the newcomer award at the 67th Japan Record Awards in November last year.
