Singer and producer Zico (ZICO) released a new song with Crush.
On the 8th at 8:40 p.m., Mnet's official YouTube channel posted a cypher video of Zico and Crush's new song "Yin and Yang." In the black-and-white video, the two musicians' free atmosphere and intense charisma stand out. Rapping that boasts perfect tempo control, and performances carried out with dozens of dancers grab attention.
"Yin and Yang" is a song Zico and Crush worked on together as producers who teamed up on Mnet's "Show Me the Money 12," and each of their styles harmoniously blend. The lyrics express a mindset of not losing composure even in harsh realities, as light and darkness intersect. Short, powerful words such as "Burn Lights / Dark Side / We got the Yin and Yang" follow, creating a freestyle-rap-like atmosphere. The intense beat, heavy rap and smooth tones add to the listening pleasure.
Attention is also focused on Zico's expected performance on "Show Me the Money 12." He appeared as a producer on seasons 4 and 6 of "Show Me the Money," leading contestants to runner-up and championship finishes and demonstrating outstanding ability as a producer. Interest is concentrated on the producing he will show this season.
Zico has been steadily gaining popularity with the single "DUET," released on the 19th of last month. The song reached No. 1 on YouTube's "Trending music" at 5 p.m. on Dec. 21, 2025, and held that position until 11 a.m. on Jan. 6, 2026. It also ranked eighth on Korea Spotify's latest "Weekly top songs" (tracking period: Dec. 26, 2025–Jan. 1, 2026) and placed 10th on Korea YouTube's latest weekly popular songs compiled during the same period. It has entered Japan YouTube's weekly popular songs chart for two consecutive weeks, receiving love at home and abroad.
