Actor Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young directly revealed why they had to remain silent about the prewedding pregnancy rumor before their marriage.

That day they met the couple Kwon Sang Woo·Son Tae Young and heard the behind-the-scenes story of their love story and events before and after their marriage. The two recalled an Australia trip they took together two months after meeting and said, "We were caught in Australia like a honeymoon. We really got to know each other on that trip." Kwon Sang Woo said, "I wanted to make proper memories in Australia," and added, "On a hot air balloon he gave a necklace as a first proposal meaning 'let's date with marriage in mind.'"
However, after the marriage news became known, the malicious comments were harsh. Son Tae Young recalled, "When an article came out in the paper and malicious comments flooded in, it was really difficult. That was a big deal." She then revealed the reason they had to hide the pregnancy.
That day the two spoke about the prewedding pregnancy rumor for the first time. Kwon Sang Woo recalled, "I went to an obstetrics clinic in New York for tests because I was afraid the pregnancy would be revealed," and said, "I wore a wig and boarded the plane so people would not recognize me. Thinking about it now it's like a comedy, but at the time we were that desperate."
Married in 2008 and the parents of one son and one daughter, the two calmly recalled how they chose to protect each other amid many misunderstandings and gazes, conveying the true weight of love.
