Singer and actor Yoon Seobin, active as a "versatile entertainer," has been cast in the short-form drama "AAA batteries, though".
Yoon Seobin's agency Andbut Company said "Yoon Seobin will join the drama 'AAA batteries, though' (director Yang Kyung-hee / writer Cho Han-byul / creator Chey Yoon-chung / production Studio CR) as the lead role 'Kwon Seo-jun'," the agency said.
The short-form drama "AAA batteries, though" is a campus romance comedy that tells the cheeky first-love coming-of-age story of a girl whose heart grew before her chest. The project is a collaboration between creator Chey Yoon-chung, who wrote tvN's "Emergency Couple," writer Cho Han-byul and director Yang Kyung-hee, recognized for her stylish directing, and is produced by Studio CR, led by CEO Lee Chan-ho, who led well-made hit works such as "Misaeng," "Signal," "Stranger," and "Mr. Queen".
Yoon Seobin plays Kwon Seo-jun, a 20-year friend and childhood friend who attended elementary, middle and high school with the female lead Ja Ga-young and is the only freshman in the physical education department. Portraying the steady "warm man" Kwon Seo-jun who quietly watches over Ga-young, Yoon Seobin will depict a complex and delicate pure love that secretly hopes she won't get hurt while supporting her unrequited love amid a tense love triangle with the coolly charming "cold man" Seo Jeong-woo.
Yoon Seobin has been recognized for his acting through various works such as the films "Full-speed sprint", "Unboxing" and the musical "Dream High", and is expected to showcase his own charm to the public through the role of Kwon Seo-jun in this work as well.
Meanwhile, the drama "AAA batteries, though," featuring Yoon Seobin's new charm, will consist of 50 episodes and will be released on the short-form drama platform "EveryReels" as its first original work in Jan. 2026.<
