Tving original animation "Terror Man" will be released.
Tving original "Terror Man" on the 8th released the main poster and main trailer announcing the prelude to war, stirring the anticipation of fans who have been awaiting the birth of a Korean-style dark hero.
"Terror Man" is based on the popular webtoon of the same name that opens YLAB's flagship hero franchise, "Superstring Universe," which has a solid fandom, and tells the story of high school student Jeong-woo, who has eyes that sense misfortune, becoming a terrorist himself to save people and confronting a vast conspiracy. News that Tving is producing "Terror Man" as an animation prompted an outpouring of fans' anticipation and support across various online bulletin boards.
The unveiled main poster and main trailer, which set the release date, raise expectations even higher. A massive force smiling chillingly while overlooking a city dyed purple, Jeong-woo who volunteered to be a terrorist to stop them, and the tense confrontation among Lilia and Bong-chun create a taut sense of tension. In particular, Jeong-woo, whose purple rage ripples beyond his gas mask, and the phrase "an eye that sees misfortune, a war with a massive force" further amplify curiosity.
The released main trailer piques curiosity with the changed daily life of ordinary high school student Jeong-woo. Jeong-woo, who seems unremarkable, has an unusual ability: he was born with eyes that sense misfortune. The "purple" seen through Jeong-woo's eyes means disaster is coming. Jeong-woo, overwhelmed by confusion and fear as he looks at Yanghwa Bridge dyed purple. But at Lilia's loaded words, "Choose. Will you save people or run away?" the mood reverses as if he is awakened. Jeong-woo's choice to become the worst terrorist in history to stop a series of attacks that shook Korea now raises expectations for the birth of a dark hero never seen before.
Immediately after the "Terror Man" trailer was released, heated reactions poured in about the animation quality that delicately captured the webtoon original's worldview and characters, and the thrilling action. Above all, the star voice cast lineup, including Lee Kyung-tae, Jang Mi, Um Sang-hyeon, Shim Kyu-hyuk, and Jeon Tae-yeol, who have played major roles in popular animations such as the movie "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train," "Maru is a Puppy," and "The First Slam Dunk," excites fans even more. In addition, director Um Sang-yong, who won the Emmy Award for outstanding animated program at the 75th Emmy Awards for the second story of the Simpsons special episode "Treehouse of Horror 33," is directing the animation, and director Umehara Takahiro, who served as episode director for the Netflix original animation "PLUTO," is the character animation director, raising expectations for completeness. It will be released on the 29th.
