Kakao Entertainment (co-CEOs Kwon Ki-soo, Jang Yoon-joong) announced on the 8th that hrtz.wav (Haatzwave), formed through Mnet's global band-making survival show "Still Heart Club," has confirmed its debut in the first half of this year. Kakao Entertainment plans to provide systematic support using its music business capabilities, from planning and production of music IP to distribution and marketing, so that hrtz.wav (Haatzwave) can grow into a global iconic band. The team name hrtz.wav (Haatzwave) combines "hrtz," meaning the frequency of heart, soul, and sound (Hertz), and ".wav," representing unprocessed high-quality sound and waves. Member Kayten personally participated in naming it to capture the band's identity. Kayten (guitar), Hagiwa (drums), Dane (bass), Rian (vocal), and Yoon Young-jun (keyboard), who were selected as the final No. 1 in their positions on last year's buzzed-about Mnet "Still Heart Club," proved their potential as next-generation global icons by forming a solid fandom with not only strong playing skills and overwhelming live performance abilities shown during the survival process but also distinct individual personalities and charms.
