Actor Kang Ye-won reunites with Na Moon-hee in a project for the first time in 15 years.
On the 8th, OSEN reported that Kang Ye-won will appear in the film 'Accidental Chef,' which stars Na Moon-hee and Seong Dong Il.
'Accidental Chef' is a feature film in the human drama genre, directed by Heo In-moo, who previously worked with Na Moon-hee on 'The Vanished Woman.' With filming reported to be about to start, a solid lineup was completed as Kang Ye-won joined Na Moon-hee and Seong Dong Il.
The reunion of Na Moon-hee and Kang Ye-won draws attention. The two worked together in the 2010 film 'Harmony.' 'Harmony' tells the story of Jeong-hye (Kim Yun-jin), who must give up her baby for adoption when the child turns 18 months old; death row inmate Moon-ok (Na Moon-hee), whose own family has even turned their back on her; and the women of a prison who each carry painful stories, who form a choir and create an emotionally moving performance for their loved ones, and the film attracted 3 million viewers.
Kang Ye-won, who debuted in the 2001 drama 'Honey Honey,' appeared in films such as 'Haeundae,' 'Harmony,' 'Beauty of Joseon: The Three Beauties of Joseon,' 'The Taste of Love,' 'Come See Me,' and 'Temporary Special Agent,' and in dramas such as 'The Thousandth Man,' 'Bad Guys,' 'Baek-hee has returned,' 'The Man Who Must Die,' and 'Only One Person.' She has also appeared on variety shows such as 'Sunday Night–Real Men: Women soldiers special season 2,' 'We Got Married,' and 'Sister's Slam Dunk,' gaining much love for her quirky and candid charm.
Last year, Kang Ye-won announced her appearance in the film 'Get out of my island now!' and she had earlier indicated she would be active in 2026. At the start of the new year she wrote on her social account, "In 2026 I want to work harder on my main profession with good projects and get closer to you through various challenges. Please cheer for me a lot," and, as promised, she finalized her next project and is ready to meet audiences as an actress.
