Actors Kim Shin-rock and Jung Young-joo showed affection.
On the 8th at Lotte Cinema World Tower Mall in Seoul, the press and distribution screening for the film "Project Y" was held. Han So-hee, Jeon Jong-seo, Kim Shin-rock, Jung Young-joo, Lee Jae Kyoon, Yoo Ah, Kim Sung-Cheol and director Lee Hwan attended the event.
Project Y, which opens on Jan. 21, is a work that depicts the story of Miseon and Do-kyung, who dreamed of a different tomorrow while living in the middle of a dazzling city, stealing black money and gold bullion at the edge of their lives.
Project Y, which early on gathered expectations simply from the casting news of the outstanding young stars Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo, also promises a "must-see" with reliable actors Kim Shin-rock and Jung Young-joo, Kim Sung-Cheol and the charming scene stealer Lee Jae Kyoon, and Yoo Ah joining the cast.
Jung Young-joo, who left an impression playing the role of "Bull" in the film, recalled her chemistry with Kim Shin-rock, saying, "We had to shoot in a cramped place, and the first scene was where an ashtray hit. There was some blood too. Without long dialogue, we rehearsed a few times and then shot, and I felt the energy we poured into the long rehearsals all poured out in front of the camera."
She continued, "Actually, I hadn't prepared a lot. I thought I'd just be the bull, and I was completely right for that. It was a pleasant violence. I wish I could have shown affection, but we filmed without time for that. I really like Kim Shin-rock's eyes, and because I could make eye contact and act from the start, I filmed feeling like I was dating by myself," she said, showing affection and drawing attention.
In response, Kim Shin-rock also said, "We shot two scenes with the senior. It was the first time I saw the shaved head look, and I wondered what kind of charisma I should respond with. I urgently tried matching energy by saying, 'Ice, please!' and it was thrilling and good. The second scene was very tough, but the senior willingly threw her body into it. We physically had to hold each other, and she really seemed great. Seeing her on set, I thought, 'Ah, she is really cool. I want to be that kind of actor,'" replying and creating a warm atmosphere.
