WAKER wakes up the music scene vigorously with the start of the 2026 new year.
The group WAKER (WAKER, Goh Hyun·Kwon Hyup·Lee Jun·Rio·Saebyeol·Sebum) releases their third mini album In Elixir : Spellbound today (the 8th) at 12 p.m. on various online music sites.
This new release is an album that captures, like a single story, the excitement, confusion and growth of young people facing the feeling of love for the first time. The title track LiKE THAT is a dance song that expresses the thrill and dizzying heartbeat of love with an addictive sound. The lyrics convey the message that love is both a medicine and an illness, and a sophisticated guitar riff and a strong beat combine to create a sensuous melody that grabs the ear.
The third mini album contains a total of nine songs, an album-scale lineup that boasts richness. Starting with the upbeat-sounding 11:59, it sequentially includes synth-pop Lucid Dream, Revive, which combines dubstep and hip-hop, and the energetic 10 outta 10.
In the latter half of the album, listeners can also find the lyrical ballad Saebyeokbyeol, the disco-pop tracks Feeling and Sugar Crush, and the intense hip-hop track Drop Out. In this way, WAKER shows more mature musical capabilities and sincerity through a diverse musical world that crosses genres.
WAKER's performance is also a major point of anticipation for this comeback. Through the previously released LiKE THAT music video teaser, they previewed powerful dance moves, and despite the short length, it left fans with a strong impression, amplifying anticipation for the comeback. Accordingly, WAKER plans to present a highly polished stage based on solid live vocals and dance skills.
Meanwhile, WAKER will first unveil the comeback stage for the title track LiKE THAT today on Mnet's M Countdown along with the new release. They will then appear sequentially on KBS2 MUSIC BANK, MBC Show! Music Core and SBS Inkigayo.
