The story of two families boasting a 30-year history and tradition of enmity, Recipe For Love, has released a second teaser, raising expectations among prospective viewers.
KBS 2TV's new weekend drama Recipe For Love, scheduled to premiere on the 31st (directed by Han Jun-seo, written by Park Ji-sook), is a family makeup drama about two families who, after 30 years of bitter ties, resolve their misunderstandings, heal each other's wounds and are reborn as one family.
The second teaser released today (the 8th) begins with the reunion by fate of Gong Ju-a (Jin Se Yun) and Yang Hyun-bin (So E-hyun). When Yang Hyun-bin asks her name, Gong Ju-a answers "a secret," creating a strange thrill. This is followed by Yang Hyun-bin introducing Gong Ju-a as his first love, igniting anticipation for the romance that will unfold between the two.
Meanwhile, Han Seong-mi (Yu Ho-jeong) delivers a cynical barb, "what a talk of love," revealing a precarious relationship with Gong Jeong-han (Kim Seung-su). The announced divorce declaration of Gong Jeong-han and daughter Gong Ju-a's questioning of Han Seong-mi with "Are you having an affair?" heighten curiosity about the family's hidden story.
Then comes the declaration to settle the feud between the two enemy families, which neither treatment nor prescription can fix. Gong Ju-a's line, "They are dreadful enemies," hints at the deep-seated enmity between the two families that can never be resolved. The snarling encounters whenever they meet between Gong Jeong-han and Yang Dong-ik (Kim Hyung-mook), and the fiery confrontations between Han Seong-mi and Cha Se-ri (Park Ki Woong), preview the rival chemistry between the two families and pique interest.
Especially at the end of the video, Yang Hyun-bin's remark, "It has started, so you have to see it to the end," greatly raises anticipation for the drama. As the curtain rises on the final prescription to end the two families' enmity, attention is focused on whether they can tear down the 30-year wall and truly transform into a family.
In this way, Recipe For Love is expected to warmly color living rooms with a story that evokes both laughter and empathy. KBS 2TV's new weekend drama Recipe For Love, where viewers can see the shocking narratives of two families and their rival chemistry, will premiere on the 31st at 8 p.m.
