EO Contents Group, which was at the center of attention last year by presenting the dramas Love Scout and Head Over Heels, opens 2026 with the premium mystery thriller Bloody Flower (Bloody Flower).
EO Contents Group, after Night has fallen, which ranked No. 1 in the Netflix Korea drama category in December 2023, emerged as a premium drama studio that captured both artistic quality and buzz by consecutively presenting Love Scout (SBS) and Head Over Heels (tvN) in 2025.
In particular, Love Scout recorded a personal best viewership rating of 12%, a peak of 14%, and a 2049 target rating of 4.4%, ranked No. 1 in drama brand reputation for January–February 2025, was No. 1 in TV sector and cast buzz (Han Jimin, Lee Jun-hyuk), and ranked No. 1 in viewers across 123 countries globally, earning praise as the perfect romance bible and soaring to become a premium romance.
Head Over Heels also proved the strength of K-rom-com by ranking first in viewership in its time slot, reaching No. 2 on the Prime Video global TV chart and entering the TOP10 for six consecutive weeks (according to FlixPatrol), ranking first in brand reputation index, first in rising star brand reputation, and winning the Best Comedy Programme at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA), the largest content awards in Asia.
With industry and public interest high for EO Contents Group's 2026 drama lineup, the premium mystery thriller Bloody Flower (Bloody Flower) (produced by EO Contents Group Co., Ltd. and Contents G Co., Ltd.) will be released on Feb. 4 on Disney+.
The eight-episode drama Bloody Flower (Bloody Flower), scheduled to release two episodes a week on Disney+, is a mystery thriller about people surrounding a serial killer who has the ability to cure all incurable diseases, posing a shocking question that overturns law and common sense and building viewers' anticipation.
Ryeo-un, who has established himself as a next-generation leading actor, takes on a radical acting transformation in this work, Seong Dong Il firmly anchors the drama with another display of seasoned acting prowess, and Keum Sae-rok adds a charismatic presence to complete an intense acting showdown among the three actors. The densely layered acting ensemble created by actors with different energies and colors is cited as a major viewing point of the work.
Bloodly Flower (Bloody Flower) had already raised expectations in the industry by demonstrating the completeness of its script early on, winning first place and the grand prize in the '2023 broadcasting and video content planning contest' and its commercialization program hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA).
In addition to Bloody Flower (Bloody Flower), EO Contents Group plans to prove genre diversity in the 2026 drama market by lining up solid new works including the action drama BaekXX (working title), based on the popular Naver Webtoon 'BaekXX'; the historical fantasy romance Chanan: eyes that hold the light (working title), based on the grand prize winner of the KT web novel contest; the romantic comedies This man was not in the plan, Sorang Sorang Sorang; and the mystery fantasy drama The Red Box.
Also, beyond TV and OTT dramas, EO Contents Group is preparing theatrical release of the film Focus in 2026 following last year's releases The Noisy Mansion and Gangryeong: ghost play, and is set to produce films Echo, Sagye (death realm), and Gangryeong 2. It also plans to release the short-form drama Checking in to the queen and the AI series drama Soon, night falls, deepening a content lineup that combines buzz and artistic quality this year as well.
