Actor Lee Jun-ho expressed joy over Cashero reaching No. 1 globally.
On the 7th, Lee Jun-ho posted several photos announcing that the new series Cashero, in which he plays the lead, had reached No. 1 globally on Netflix.
The released photos show a record of the Netflix original series Cashero's performance. Cashero, which opened on the 26th of last month, reached No. 1 among global non-English shows in the global TOP10 in its second week after release, recorded 6,100,000 views (the number of views divided by the show's total running time), and ranked on the TOP10 lists in a total of 51 countries, attracting great interest. In particular, Cashero's box office figures were higher in the second week than in the first week, raising expectations for its future performance.
Also that day, Lee Jun-ho's agency O3 Collective released behind-the-scenes stills saying, "We spent our paychecks to save the world, so we're No. 1," drawing attention. Lee Jun-ho, like his Cashero character Kang Sang-woong, even enjoyed the joy of being No. 1 while holding a bundle of 50,000-won bills in one hand.
Meanwhile, Cashero is a down-to-earth "my money, my power" superhero story about Sang-woong (played by Lee Jun-ho), a salaryman struggling with wedding funds and housing costs, who gains the ability to become as strong as the money he holds in his hand, and who is torn between covering living expenses and his superpower.
After appearing last year in the tvN dramas Typhoon Family and Cashero, Lee Jun-ho will begin filming the next movie Veteran 3 this year. He is expected to show a new side as he transforms into an arrogant villain.
