Actor Moon Sang Min is stepping down from his MC role on MUSIC BANK.
On the 7th, OSEN reported that Moon Sang Min will leave the KBS2 music show MUSIC BANK. However, the timing of his departure is under discussion and has not been finalized.
Moon Sang Min, who has led MUSIC BANK since May 2024, after LE SSERAFIM's Hong Eun Chae, partnered with ILLIT's Minju and showed perfect chemistry as the "bank president."
Having busily pursued acting while showing affection for MUSIC BANK, Moon Sang Min hosted the program for a long period of one year and eight months. With his cheerful yet steady hosting skills, Moon Sang Min also served as an MC for the KBS Drama Awards in both 2024 and 2025.
After leaving MUSIC BANK, Moon Sang Min is expected to focus fully on his main profession. He is currently starring opposite Nam Ji-hyun in the KBS2 weekend drama To My Beloved Thief, which is airing to positive reviews.
