Rapper D.ark denied the marijuana allegations reported against him.
On the 7th, D.ark posted a handwritten letter on his social media saying, "I am speaking for those who have been curious given my previous silence."
He said, "While suffering from false reports, I confidently completed all investigations and all detailed tests came back negative, so I have been focusing diligently on music work," and added, "I was unfairly investigated due to a simple inhalation suspicion, and they conducted a seizure and phone forensics, but I believe the results proved my innocence."
He continued, "From the start, distribution was an exaggerated false report that was not even in the investigation details, but rather than immediately making excuses I waited for the truth to come out," and added, "Actually, since I experienced malicious reports from when I was 15, I have become accustomed to the successive false reports. I think it is largely my fault that I received such investigations, that false reports came out, and that I received criticism, and I am reflecting on that."
Finally, D.ark said, "I will live rightly so that even such suspicions do not arise, and I want to communicate with the world through music," and added, "I thank those who believed in and supported me."
Meanwhile, D.ark is a rapper from Yanbian who first became known in 2018 when he appeared on Mnet's show Show Me the Money 777 at the young age of 14, and in 2021 he also appeared on another Mnet show, High School Rapper 4.
In October, reports emerged that D.ark had been arrested on suspicion of violating the Act on the Control of Narcotics. According to reports, the police said D.ark distributed and inhaled marijuana, and at the time D.ark's side was reported to have denied the related allegations.
