Actor Kim Ji-hun got 2026 off to a good start by winning the multitainer award at the "2026 Korea First Brand Awards."
Kim Ji-hun was selected as a multitainer expected to be active this year and received the honor at the "2026 Korea First Brand Awards," held yesterday on the 6th at the Shilla Hotel in Jangchung-dong, Seoul.
The "2026 Korea First Brand Awards" is South Korea's largest brand awards ceremony that announces brands expected to lead the following year based on consumer research. It marked its 24th year this year and selects winners each year through national consumer voting and deliberation by a judging committee.
Kim Ji-hun was chosen as a person who will shine in 2026 based on the results of a domestic consumer survey conducted from Nov. 3 to 16 last year, solidifying his position as a "trend actor." The result proved the public's trust and affection for him.
When called as the recipient, Kim Ji-hun went on stage and said, "It seems the hard work I have put in up to now has paid off. I will continue to be a diligent actor in 2026 as always."
