Singer Brian candidly revealed the revenue structure he earns through home shopping activities.
On the 6th, the YouTube channel "The Brian" posted a video titled "Brian will sing again after seven years. The day he met Hwanhee and vowed to remarry with PLT." The video included Brian's catch-up talk after meeting his longtime duo partner Hwanhee.
That day Hwanhee asked Brian, "That's amazing. Do you make that much from home shopping?" and Brian opened by saying, "If you calculate it, a lot has to come in. It's appearance fees." He then explained, "If you think the appearance fee is 100,000 won, doing it 18 times a month is 1.8 million won," drawing attention.
When Hwanhee asked, "If it sells out, isn't there something like royalties?" Brian shook his head and drew a line, saying, "Selling 100 million won worth doesn't mean you get 10% more. Everyone misunderstands that." He added, "It's just an appearance fee. It has nothing to do with the sales amount."
Nonetheless, the accumulated sales of the products Brian sold were considerable. He said, "The item I sold the most was the Dyson vacuum. So far what I've sold is about 4.4 billion won," and joked, "How nice would it have been if I had gotten even 10%?" drawing laughter.
Earlier, Brian had mentioned the results he achieved through home shopping and live commerce on various broadcasts. On MBC's "Radio Star," he said, "The money I brought into the company in just one year is 15.7 billion won," and noted, "The money earned in two to three years is far better than what I earned as a singer over 25 years," drawing attention.
Meanwhile, Brian recently drew attention again as news emerged that he built a large residence of about 300 pyeong in Pyeongtaek equipped with a gym, swimming pool, movie theater, and laundry room.
