KBS2's new weekend drama Recipe For Love, which is scheduled to premiere at 8 p.m. on the 31st (written by Park Ji-sook, directed by Han Jun-seo, produced by HB Entertainment), is a family makeup drama in which two households entwined in a bad relationship for 30 years resolve their misunderstandings, heal each other's wounds and are reborn as one family.
Stills released on the 7th capture the couple Yoo Ho-jung and Kim Seung-soo shifting between warmth and coldness, drawing attention. Questions grow about what crisis has befallen the two people called the "icons of the perfect family" and what kind of marital episodes they will portray.
In the drama, Yoo Ho-jung plays Han Seong-mi, a cheerful yet rational and fair daughter-in-law of Dr. Gong Myoung and a psychiatrist. Kim Seung-soo appears as Gong Jeong-han, the warm and humane representative director of Gong Myoung clinic, adding deep weight to the drama.
In the released stills, the two represent opposing values of romance and reality, creating taut tension. The rift between Han Seong-mi, who is realistic yet full of self-love, self-esteem and social influence, and Gong Jeong-han, who is unpretentious and stubborn in his convictions, intensifies as they become embroiled in unexpected controversies.
