'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' KwakTube recalls his past working at a trading company in his hometown Busan and gets nostalgic.
On Friday the 9th at 9:10 p.m., episode 13 of the full-fledged real street food documentary 'Jun Hyun-moo plan 3' (MBN·Channel S·SK Broadband co-production) will air, in which Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube (Kwak Jun-bin) return to the 'Live Up to Your Name' gourmet city Busan and uncover a 'yangsubaek' restaurant that even Busan native KwakTube had never seen before.
Arriving at Busan port that day, KwakTube went full throttle with energy and shouted, "In Busan you can eat not three meals but thirty," heightening expectations. Jun Hyun-moo also boldly declared, "We won't go to the restaurants featured on broadcasts; we'll go to old establishments known only to drivers, places other provincial people don't know." Then Jun Hyun-moo said, "The menu KwakTube always talked about! Let's go eat subaek. But it's a slightly unusual subaek," and headed to a 45-year-old 'yangsubaek' restaurant.
While moving, KwakTube recalled his pre-embassy work life, saying, "I worked at a trading company, so I often commuted to Busan port," referring to his job before his posting at the Azerbaijan embassy. He added, "Trading company employees drink a lot. So hangovers are life," and shared a grounded office worker anecdote. Upon arrival at the restaurant, KwakTube widened his eyes at the 'yangsubaek' sign and the hidden old establishment in the basement, saying, "I'm already shocked. Is there a place like this?"
After tasting a bite of the cow's 'yang', he gave a thumbs-up, saying, "The funkiness was deliciously intense." While marveling at the subaek broth, Jun Hyun-moo entered 'flavor deduction' mode, saying, "This is not the deep savory flavor you can get from only beef bone broth." In fact, the owner hinted to Jun Hyun-moo about the secret to the savory broth, and interest focuses on what the secret ingredient of the 'yangsubaek' that surprised the production team might be.
