Dentist Lee Su-jin candidly shared her feelings after closing her dental clinic and complained of financial hardship.
Lee Su-jin said on the 6th, "Do you know these days half the people are happy I'm ruined to death, and half come to watch? Anyway, my face looks ostentatious." She added, "I lost my health and lost my money, but my skin is still clear."
She also said, "At 58 I'm ruined and riding the bus. There's probably no one more uninteresting than me. But there's a lot of controversy about me being ostentatious. Am I the only one on that too?"
Earlier on the 29th of last month, Lee Su-jin said, "I don't even know what happened in the years gone by. There are no wings for a fall; I did all the levitation and sank into the ground. I barely crawled out and now I only look to God."
She went on, "I'm grateful that there are still people who cheer and pray for me on days like this. I'm thankful that the sunlight is pretty today, and because my health is not good I wished it would end quickly, but since I'm still spending time on this earth I'm all in on the time points 'today!' and 'now,' and all I can do is pray and give thanks."
She especially shared a photo of herself traveling by bus and added, "I never dreamed I would be riding the bus at my age worrying about veterinary bills for my cat."
In 2023 Lee Su-jin spoke about the difficulties of running a dental clinic, explaining, "I did it too luxuriously and on a large scale in Garosu-gil. Chinese patients suddenly decreased and celebrities who used to come from abroad suddenly could not come. The balance between income and expenditure was broken. I used to earn hundreds of millions every day, but when outgoing amounts became hundreds of millions the moment the balance broke it became difficult."
