Actor Lee Nayoung returns to TV drama after seven years, and the main poster for Honor: Their court has been released.
The Jini TV original drama 'Honor: Their court' Lee Nayoung X Jung Eun-Chae X Lee Chungah face a huge scandal head-on. The main poster, suggesting the three lawyers' determined solidarity of "broken but never collapsing," was unveiled.
The Jini TV original drama "Honor: Their court" (directed by Park Gun-ho, written by Park Ga-yeon, planned by KT Studio Jini, produced by How Pictures, hereafter "Honor") is a mystery pursuit about three women lawyers who confront a past that has returned as a massive scandal with a head-on breakthrough. The main poster released today (the 7th) compressively captures the fierce battle and strong solidarity of the three lead lawyers of L&J, a law firm specializing in female crime victims—"Yoon Ra-young" (Lee Nayoung), "Kang Shin-jae" (Jung Eun-Chae) and "Hwang Hyun-jin" (Lee Chungah)—in a single image that dominates attention.
The most notable point of this poster is the "hands" that the three lawyers firmly hold together. It symbolizes a strong will and trust to join forces and move forward together to the end, unfazed by any massive external pressure beyond 20 years of friendship. Their solid charisma staring straight ahead, combined with the line "broken but never collapsing," completes an even more powerful message.
Also, the gazes of the three characters each hold different narratives, yet they are directed toward the single goal of "honor." Their fierce passion they will show in the cold battlefield of the courtroom and the astonishing changes they will undergo while uncovering the truth of the case are conveyed fully even in just one poster. Transformed into guardians of the court who, by being together, never ultimately collapse, the synergy of Lee Nayoung, Jung Eun-Chae and Lee Chungah already makes prospective viewers' hearts race.
The production team said, "Through the main poster we wanted to convey the three lawyers' strong will to hold each other's hands as a support and the message that runs through the entire work. Even during filming, Lee Nayoung, Jung Eun-Chae and Lee Chungah emitted powerful energy that filled the set with just their gazes and poses, showing perfect chemistry," and expressed confidence, "The secrets of the past return as a massive scandal that places a yoke on them, but their mystery pursuit as they fight fiercely to protect their honor will deliver a powerful thrill to viewers."
Meanwhile, the Jini TV original drama 'Honor: Their court' is based on a Swedish drama of the same name and will be released on KT Jini TV at 10 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2, and will be broadcast through ENA.
