Yu Jae-seok's new year fortune drew attention with a meaningful interpretation.
On the 6th, SBS variety show Whenever Possible featured Cha Taehyun and Kim Do-hoon as "Whenever friends" alongside 2MCs Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeonseok.
In the show's opening, Yoo Yeonseok, marking the new year, said, "Let's look at the new year fortune" and analyzed Yu Jae-seok's fortune through AI. Yoo Yeonseok explained, "You shine in roles that organize the stage rather than stepping forward. Instead of standing out like the protagonist, it's better to hold the center for better results," drawing attention.
The remark drew more attention as it coincided with recent shifts repeatedly surfacing in the entertainment world. The structure that had been called the "Yu line" was shaken as Lee Yi-kyung and Cho Sae-ho, who had worked closely with Yu Jae-seok, stepped down from variety shows after various controversies.
Earlier, Lee Yi-kyung left MBC's Hangout With Yoo after being embroiled in rumors about his private life, and Cho Sae-ho also withdrew from programs, saying, "I don't want to burden the producers and viewers," after several allegations arose.
