Group VVUP (VVUP) lifted their first trophy of the new year, marking a pleasant start.
VVUP (Kim, Paen, Suyun, Jiyun) was selected as "female idol (rising star)" in the Indonesia people institutional sector at the '2026 Korea First Brand Awards' held on the 6th at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.
'Korea First Brand Awards' is the country's largest brand awards that, through large-scale annual consumer surveys, selects and honors the brands expected to lead the year.
At the awards ceremony, VVUP said, "We are honored to receive such a major award at the start of 2026. It is all thanks to Vini (the fandom name) who have always supported us. We will continue to work hard to be artists our fans can be proud of," and added, "We were happy to have the opportunity to meet Vini in Indonesia in person recently, and being chosen as the Indonesia institutional sector rising star makes us even more grateful and gives this honor deeper meaning."

VVUP recently held fan events combining performances and fan signings at Lippo Mall Puri and Kota Kasablanka in Jakarta, Indonesia, drawing about 5,000 attendees over two days and demonstrating remarkable popularity. Crowds filled up to the fourth floor of a large building to see VVUP, showcasing the intense enthusiasm.
In particular, about 30 prominent local media outlets attended a press conference for VVUP's first visit to Indonesia. With outlets such as INDO BALI NEWS, BUTOL POST and TIMES INDONESIA present, the media focused on VVUP's activities and raised expectations for their future work.
