Actor Cha Taehyun shared news of his changed son Suchan and revealed an unexpected "touching moment."
The episode of the SBS variety show 'Whenever Possible' that aired on the 6th featured Cha Taehyun and Kim Do-hoon appearing as "gap friends" and exchanging witty remarks. The conversation naturally turned to stories about sibling and father-son relationships.
First, Kim Do-hoon said, "My younger brother, who is 11 years younger, is a first-year high school student and going through puberty, so I scold him a lot," and shared his recent news. Cha Taehyun nodded and mentioned his son Suchan.
When Yoo Jae-seok cautiously asked, "Can we now say 'that' person's name?", Cha Taehyun joked, "Now that his senior year of high school is over, it's okay to talk about his name. You can say Suchan."
He recalled an episode in which he recently sent his son a long text message, saying, "I sent a text a while ago. He always replied with 'uh' or 'yes,' but two lines came back."
Cha Taehyun laughed, "It was a bath of emotion. Of course, two lines that could be covered in one line, but an unbelievable thing happened." He added, "I captured this and immediately sent it to my wife," showing he was overwhelmed by the change in his relationship with his son after puberty.
Meanwhile, "Whenever Possible" is a variety program that targets brief pockets of free time in everyday life, and it airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m.<
